Accountabilities

Leadership

־            Responsibility for directing and leading the regional operation team, ensuring the team are results driven whilst adhering to Control Techniques global manufacturing delegation of authority.

־            Lead by example to actively promote company's code of Ethics to ensure actions and behaviors meet agreed priorities, procedures and ethical standards to support CT Manufacturing.

־            Improve performance of direct reports through education, training and development.

 

Budget & POR responsibilities

־            Actively contribute to Control Techniques annual budget process.

־            Facilitate continual improvement practices to achieve best value objectives

־            Report China manufacturing operational performance and objectives to monthly POR review

־            Deliver innovative projects to improve productivity, reduce costs and reduce inventory and provide monthly reports on POR initiatives

־            Actively contribute to CT Global Manufacturing strategy.

 

China & Hong Kong distribution hubs

־            Setup/Improve/Manage the Regional distribution hub receiving product from manufacturing locations for domestic sales.

־            Implement Demand Led Distribution (DLD) process for domestic sales.

־            Manage inventory to meet sales requirements through a strong ethic of Sales & Operation Planning process.

־            Manage Regional hubs administration, purchasing from sub contractors and sales distribution.

 

Manufacturing Support

־            Provide contract manufacturers with CT support in terms of Process Engineering, Test Support, Quality Assurance (QA) and New Product Introduction (NPI)

־            Ensure decision-making and behaviours enhance and promote our culture of ‘Best Possible Quality’.

־            Ensure customer delivery performance is the number one objective.

־            Conduct weekly conference call with Contract Manufacturers together with UK.

־            Conduct monthly CEM quality review to systematically improve process and product quality through carefully focused actions to deliver improved product reliability and improved productivity Quality Assurance meeting to promote continual improvement.

 

Regional Supplier Quality Assurance

־            Provide regional Supplier Quality support for CT Global Manufacturing

־            Coordinate regional supplier corrective action plans to support China CEM and CT Global Suppliers

־            Conduct supplier qualification audits (ESAC)

 

New Product Introduction

־            Responsible for leading regional new product introduction process under the direction of the Global Manufacturing team.

Accountabilities(Continued)

Global Manufacturing

־            Support global manufacturing requirements for process standardisation e.g CT produce

־            catalogue products through global manufacturing facilities.

־            Manufacturing Capital investment:

־            Annual capital budget is controlled via UK Manufacturing

־            Regional capital budget input into the global budget is coordinated by the Regional Operations Manager

־            Appropriation requests for all manufacturing equipment must be authorized by the GSM Manager.

־            Support central manufacturing functions such as Quality Assurance (QA), Test Development.

־            Support a CT Corporate governance model that routinely monitors manufacturing sites against pre-determine requirements:

־            This includes standard operating procedures, key process indicators, fixed assets, compliant to ethical requirements, core values and beliefs etc.

 

Performance Management

־            Continue to grow the Performance management process with regular reviews.

־            Effective coaching and mentoring of Direct Reports in meeting agreed performance targets

־            Understand development needs of the individuals and provide effective feedback on how

־            these can be met. This should always be matched to the needs of the business.

־            Manage poor performance in a timely manner ensuring that the business needs are

־            adequately considered

־            Effectively manage employee attendance in line with company guidelines.

Compliance

־            Actively promote company's code on Ethics. Leading by example.

־            Comply with ICQ requirements

־            Be part of the development and support of HR policy and procedure

־            Foster a culture where trust and integrity are implicit

־            Ensure that any business risks are managed, communicated and minimized.
