Responsibilities
־ The PG-Wind China/Asia MBB will be a key position to drive the Quality Program for Wind within
PG. The MBB will also be asked to support additional key PG business issues within the region.A
key theme will be to drive global Traditional and Operational Quality activities with a focus on
improving Product and Process Quality. A Major focus will be to work with the Wind China
Leadership team and China based Black Belts, especially collaborating and linking business
operations leaders and quality teams to drive and create the right Global and Local Processes
and Projects;
־ This role owns all Asia strategic Compliance, Six Sigma, Lean, QMS Support, planning and
execution. Maintain compliance with ISO Certification and fulfill the requirements to drive the
Traditional Quality and QMS activities. Leadership for Asia QMR’s, living QMS and having the
passion to motivate others to drive Quality/ Product Quality with the key stakeholders across the
region. Apply Six Sigma and Lean projects to address the most critical business issues;
־ As the Asia region MBB, this person will be the prime contact for all Asia Lean Six Sigma and
Quality activities, driving Six Sigma & LEAN Projects to improve the business performance.
Support and direct local Black Belts for mentorship and project activity. Develop the quality
program for training and GB support. Partner with leadership team to develop and improve key
focus areas, Big Y’s, and Product Quality. Participate in Mgmt Team Meetings and become the
strong voice of quality. Requires excellent leadership and execution skills and experience
operating with many levels of Management;
־ Quality representative and advocate for required Audits, ISO 9001, and Asia quality projects;
־ Meet business targets aligned with Energy Big Y’s & PG Focus Areas (Timeliness,
Responsiveness, CoQ etc);
־ Driving quality improvements in all operational areas;
־ Train and provide coaching & mentoring to GBs, BBs and QA/QC Leaders as necessary;
־ Support the Net Promoter Score effort, including Transactional surveys analyzing and
communicating customer issues, address issues in timely manner and drive RCA/CA;
־ Support Lean Six Sigma activities and Strategy;
־ Lead Quality review meetings on regular basis;
־ Build strong business product quality practices;
־ Owner and Implementer for Asia Quality Plan.
Qualifications/Requirements:
־ Four years Degree in Engineering or similar technical degree;
־ Minimum of 5+ years engineering/project management professional experience;
־ Prior Auditing Experience;
־ BB or QMS Leader experience;
־ Experience to Lead groups/ people and work well with various leadership levels;
־ Proven track record of High Level Performance;
־ Outstanding communications skills;
־ Project coordination/Change Management/Influencing/Leadership skills;
־ Customer Centric and Business Oriented mindset;
־ Quality based, Six Sigma, and Lean mindset;
־ Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision.
Desired
־ Lead Auditor or Auditor Certification/education
־ Experience or open to use Power Suite & Documentum
־ BB Certification
־ Willingness to travel throughout Asia as required and internationally as needed (estimate 25%) |
