Responsibilities
־ The recruitment, training and management of a team of local manufacturing engineers.
־ Plant/workplace layout and jig/fixture design, planning and set-up with optimal space utilization and work flow
־ Efficient and effective production processes
־ Assembly line establishment and maintenance.
־ Production equipment specification review and procurement
־ Time and motion study analyses.
־ Development of low cost automation
־ Close teamwork with the Design Team to launch new products into production.
־ Cost effective purchase of capital equipments.
Requirements
־ University Degree in Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering.
־ Familiar with high volume consumer goods manufacturing industry.
־ Experience with cellular and flow line layout and balancing
־ Hands-on knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices, --method study, time study and standards setting, work instructions Etc.
־ Knowledge of plastic welding technology –Ultrasonics, Induction Welding. UV glue joining of plastics.
־ Managerial exposure and ability to train/develop staff a must, with a minimum of 10 years’ actual experience in a sizeable MNC.
־ Ability to communicate in written/spoken English |
