| Required to support Programs:
־ China regional IT initiatives including;
־ OHV Shenyang – ERP, infra, Apps;
־ QTR – ERP, eServices, Infra;
־ Engine JV – ERP, Infra, Apps;
־ Propulsion WOFE – ERP, infra, Apps;
־ Global Signaling, localizations.
Roles and Responsibilities (first 6 months)
־ Create, Communicate and own all IT plans, strategy and implementations (programs) to support the business growth in the region. Establish the program budgets, timelines and resource plans (take ownership where existing);
־ Set up and lead the China IT team to support each facility/business program (list above) and align with global IM standards and methodologies(Project execution through dPMM);
־ Work with HR to identify resource availability/opportunities/put plans into place for contract/HC researching in China (per business needs). Also work with the VMO & GDC’s to establish regional support presence;
־ Represent IT on GET Country executive staff and to all functional teams, CORP China teams and IM Council;
־ Represent China region to global IT teams, executive leadership;
־ Establish contacts, process and relationship with vendors, drive standards and Cost Out;
־ Establish standard processes to support regional business operations;
־ Work closely with Corporate to establish a shared services strategy, set up including getting buy in & funding to establish these processes across GET China;
־ Support and Motivate the team.
Required:
־ SP/managerial with depth in ERP and/or Applications. Program management…with broad based experience (or interest) in other areas;
־ This is a leadership role – the ideal candidate will have led a medium sized team in a CIO role including budget and people responsibility;
־ Willingness to travel (~20%);
־ Ability to drive /own (self motivated, driven);
־ Ability to set up & work in seamless virtual teams. |
