Responsibilities

־            Work with global controller team to plan and advise overall China financial controllership structure, including organization, system, and process control procedures;

־            Provide leadership and help develop China controller team, including staffing, coaching and mentoring. Plan and co-ordinate FMP rotation and placement in China businesses;

־            Review corporate controllership metrics for China businesses and advise VP and CFO on controllership gaps and action plan;

־            Support China business leadership team (VPInfra China, CFO and all China business CEOs) to drive commercial compliance in ITO/OTR process. Support China compliance leader to run monthly Compliance Review Board meeting and quarterly Compliance Steering Committee;

־            Lead China controllership team to simplify and standardize internal control procedures across businesses in China;

־            Lead Energy internal site review process along with the self assessment process. Review and facilitate the controllership issue resolution;

־            Lead and coordinate audit program, internally with Corporate Audit Staff, and externally with KPMG, for all China entities;

־            Provide leadership on China ERP system controllership and ensure the smooth completion of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing;

־            Lead China controllership team (3~4 direct reports plus all site controllers) to drive treasury controllership, tax compliance on transfer price, FAS 109 deferred tax and functional currency, account reconciliation review and other controllership programs as assigned.

Requirements

־            BS degree in Finance or a related discipline;

־            Over 8 years of working experience, preferably in controllership role, at least 2 years related managerial experience;

־            Solid PRC, US GAAP knowledge, CPA or currently pursuing CPA, and experience with an accounting firm is a plus;

־            Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills;

־            High energy level, mature, independent and result oriented, process oriented and willing to drive change;

־            Team player, Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills, ability to work cross functions.

־            Knowing Oracle ERP 11i is a plus;

־            CAS or FMP graduate preferred;

־            Green Belt Certified or BB preferred.
